Competitive Events
Competitive Events
We compete annually in three events:
Districts (Raleigh)
States CDC (Greensboro)
Nationals ICDC (California or Florida)
These events prepare students for real world scenarios regardless of the field they are going in! Invaluable skills like critical thinking, public speaking, collaboration, and creativity. It's truly amazing at the alumni who tell us how DECA changed their lives.
Chapter Campaigns
Chapter Campaigns
DECA isn't just about competition. We also work toward community and leadership campaign recognition. Each year we are tasked with completing 3-4 campaigns which take a yearly effort from all members. Members learn valuable lessons about giving back to the community, leadership, and selflessness!
