TRYOUT TESTING

Tryouts will ONLY be on:

Wednesday 10/07
Tuesday 10/13

Make sure to pay your club dues

Once you have paid your dues, email the receipt to Ms. Figueroa (afigueroa5@wcpss.net)

This is how it is possible to host events and pay for t-shirts and supplies

Fees must be collected by October 31st.

INTEREST MEETING

Here is a link to the slides that were shared at the Information Meeting .

Students do not need to complete anything prior to the interest meeting. We will go through the application information and how to tryout for the different events.

Students interested in participating in Science Olympiad should attend the Interest Meeting on:

in room 2313

Students MUST provide their own transportation home as buses will have already run for the day. Only students should be attending the interest meeting. Parents can pick up their students in the carpool lane at 4:45 pm.

Remember, students not picked up on time from school events will not be permitted to participate in future after-school activities.

Any student who is unable to attend needs to email Mrs. Pruitt or Mrs. Masterson PRIOR to the meeting on September 2nd.

2025 RULES

The 2026 rule books will come out on September 2nd. Students should familiarize themselves with the rules for the events they are trying out for, prior to the tryout dates.

Regional NC Events for 2025

TRYOUT RESULTS

Team members will be announced no later than October 1st. Students will need to check their student emails for information about if they made the team or not. First team meeting will be October 7thth.

TOURNAMENT DATES

Students must commit to both the Regional and State Tournament dates that are listed below:

Regional Tournament - TBD February 7, 2026

State Tournament** - TBD April 17 & 18, 2026
