Mrs. Barber grew up outside Charlotte, NC but has lived in the Raleigh area since 2009.  She received her BS and MAEd in Middle Grades Education from East Carolina University.  While working on her masters, she also added on her AIG licensure.  Mrs. Barber has taught middle school math for 14 years.  During that time, she earned her National Board Certification. She is very excited to continue her role this year as the math intervention teacher and part-time AIG teacher, assisting Mrs. Kibler.  

Mrs. Barber is married and has an eight year old and three year old daughter.  She also has two dogs, Juniper and Jasper.  When she isn't working, she loves to spend time with her family, go to Oak Island to visit her mother, and just relax!

Mrs. Kibler grew up in Statesville, NC. She received her BS in Middle Grades Education from North Carolina State University.  She also added on her AIG licensure from East Carolina University in 2015. She has been in Wake County since 2009. Mrs. Kibler has experience teaching with magnet programs, traditional calendars, as well as year-round. Before becoming Mills Park's AIG Teacher, she taught 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Science from 2012-2022. 

She is very excited to continue building the AIG program at Mills Park Middle.

Mrs. Kibler is married to a wonderful WCPSS ELA teacher. They have two daughters together. 

She also has a cat named Tina.
