Letterland

In second grade, students will be reviewing the sounds and spelling patterns from first grade during the first several units. Then the curriculum moves onto more difficult vowel teams, r-controlled vowels, and spelling patterns. The curriculum focuses on all six syllable types and multisyllabic words. 

Every 3 units, students take a comprehensive spelling test, this is to ensure students learn the unit patterns and not just memorizing words for the week!
