A Little About Me:

I’ve been teaching amazing students for over 15 years. I have had experience teaching Kindergartners through second graders. Each day, I look forward to the new challenges and adventures that my students take me on. I have earned a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading Education from East Carolina University. I love Pirate Football and all things purple and gold! In 2010, I became a National Board Certified teacher in Reading-Language Arts for Early and Middle Childhood Education. I’ve been married to a remarkable man since 2009. We have a daughter who will be 11 this year and a crazy dog.
