Rising 6th Grade Band Info

Track 1, 2, & 3 Students: Instruments need to be ordered by July 14th in order for them to arrive to school on time! We will begin playing instruments in class on July 21st!

Track 4 Students: Instruments need to be ordered by August 4th in order for them to arrive to school on time! We will begin playing instruments in class on August 11th!

The instruments we begin in 6th grade are: Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, and Percussion. Please confirm your instrument selection with Mr. Coppenbarger (Mr. C) before ordering your instrument. Click here to watch the recording from the instrument rental meeting we had.

Please consider getting an instrument from a reputable instrument shop. Chances are that if the shop sells non-music related items, such as groceries, gardening supplies, etc. the instrument may not be the best quality. Instrument repair shops are often unable to fix these instruments when they go into disrepair. You may decide to get your instrument from Music & Arts or Sweetwater.
