Mrs. Pulliam

Hello! My name is Kristen Pulliam and I am so excited to be joining the Ballentine family this year! I grew up in Virginia before coming to North Carolina in Middle School. I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management but always knew my heart was meant to teach so I went back to NC State and got my Masters of Arts in Elementary Education in 2020. This will be my 4th year teaching and I have previously taught 4th and 2nd grade. Working with families and creating relationships is very important to me, as I believe that it takes a village to raise and teach little ones.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters, that are also fireflies. We also have a dog named Luna. I enjoy reading books and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
