Felton Grove High School Library is committed to creating a community that will cultivate literacy, knowledge, and passion to empower students to improve our world.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Felton Grove High School Library is to serve the recreational reading and academic needs of its students, faculty, and staff. Our Media Center will provide resources that support literacy across the content areas, pique curiosity, and increase engagement in the pursuit of lifelong learning.
The FGHS Media Center will contain over 30,000 books.
Chromebooks are available in the library for student use.
The open floor concept of the library allows for collaboration between students and teachers.
There are three instructional spaces available for classroom use.
In addition to this, there are several flexible spaces for use.
The fiction books in the library are shelved according to genre and author and can be checked out for three weeks. These can be renewed upon request.

Working With Us
Co-teaching and collaborating on library-based instruction for any subject matter, including CTE.
Research classes for students on how to use both online and text materials.
Collaborative maker space opportunities, including the use of library-based technology (3D printer, art supplies, iPads, etc.).
Storytimes and maker space activities that are sensory-friendly.
