The National Honor Society for Dance Arts is a program available for dancers who participate in the Dance elective at DDMS and meet the academic requirements.  This is a  nationally sponsored program  through the National Dance Educators Organization.  The mission of NHSDA is to recognize outstanding artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement in students studying dance in public and private schools in K-12 education, dance studios, and colleges/universities.  A junior program was formed in 2016 so middle schoolers could also participate in NHSDA.
