Opening and warmup: 10 minutes
Social-Emotional/Social Skills/Executive Functioning Warm Up
Executive Functioning: Homework/Agenda Check
Mindfulness/Coping Skill Practice
Focus Lesson & Supported and Independent Work: 30 minutes
Whole class guided lessons and individualized work to support core class curriculum and IEP goals
Monday-Wednesday: Lessons oriented to social emotional learning and executive functioning skills with a sprinkle of content related to IEP goals.
Thursday: Social Skills Large Group Lesson
Friday: Weekly grade conference and goal work and completion of CA classwork assignments.
Closing: 5 minutes
Recap and check in for assigned whole group and/or community building.
Students are graded on
Timeliness to class
Lesson Participation for social, social emotional, and executive functioning skills.
Engagement/Completion of academic recovery assignments related to IEP goal and current classwork support.
Organization via daily agenda update, twice weekly grade check, and backpack/materials check.
Study Skills via preparing study materials and creating and following a study plan.
Students may earn up to 100 points per day which are averaged by attendance.
