Hi! My name is Mrs Sherry Collins-Spencer and I am the Co-teacher/Instructional Assistant for Mrs. Howard and Mrs. Fields, although I will be working with the entire first grade team. I was voted Instructional Assistant of the year 2 years in a row. I have 28 yrs of experience in teaching in Elementary Education with both Durham and Wake County Schools. I was the Lead Instructional Assistant Facilitator while also taking the lead in Kindergarten and First grade remediations. I believe enhancing and fostering students learning and creativity. I also believe embracing new strategies, having high expectations for ALL students promotes better learning. I can't wait for the 2024-2025 school year!!!!!
