Hey Bullfrogs!

It is an honor to be a part of the Barton Pond Family! I am so excited to begin another wonderful year, building strong connections with students and families.

As I begin my 19th year teaching first grade, I’m filled with excitement for the opportunity to create a new classroom family. In our classroom, we focus on what we can do—and what we’re working toward—rather than what we can’t do yet. We’ll set meaningful goals and make plans to grow and succeed together!

Our learning will support both academic and social-emotional growth, creating a safe space where every child feels seen, valued, and encouraged. Teaching is truly my passion, and it’s my hope that your children feel that each and every day.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mike, and our fun-loving 6-year-old Hayes. A few of my favorite things include turtles, tiny things, and french fries!

I can’t wait for a year full of learning, laughter, and growth together!
