Kindergarten students explored the six different lines artists use in their work. After examining Monet's garden paintings, students were inspired to create their own gardens using oil pastels for the stems, sky, and sun AND tempera paint for their dotted and dashed flowers. Students learned that Monet painted dots and dashes (vertical and horizontal lines) for his flowers too!
