I am so excited to be able to support the 6th grade students, teachers, and parents at Apex Middle School. I obtained my Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Psychology and Social Work. I continued my education at North Carolina State University for graduate school and earned my M.Ed. in school counseling in 2021. 

I began my career here at Apex Middle School as an intern and transitioned to a full time role during the 2022 school year. As a school counselor, my job is to support and empower all students by meeting individual needs, classroom guidance and small groups. My goal is to cultivate a school environment where students feel comfortable to learn, be creative and most importantly, be themselves!
