Check-out Procedures

• Students have regular book circulation every three weeks through their core classes.

• Student loan periods are for three weeks. Books can be renewed or returned at any time.

• Students are able to check out their own materials at self-checkout station using their student number and scanning the ARMS barcode.

• Students are not allowed to check out books for other students.

Coming to the Media Center

• Students can come to the Media Center in the morning between 7:45 and 8:10 to check out books, return books and print instructional materials.

• Students will come to the Media Center by grade level during RIDGE Time on a schedule shared by their team to complete academic work.

• Students are encouraged to come as often as they would like but will come once every three weeks for a guaranteed circulation time with a core teacher.

• A media pass is required for visits during the school day.

Overdue Materials

• Overdue notices will be distributed to students quarterly. 

• Students who lose or damage a book will need to pay for, replace or work off the cost of the book.

Device Expectations

• Students will use their county provided chromebook for daily instruction. Their device should be charged nightly and carried and stored safely during the school day.

• If a device is gets damaged (broken screen) or is not working properly (won't connect to wifi), students should bring it to Ms. Brennan to be repaired.

• Cell phones are not allowed between the hours of 7:45am-3:00pm.
