Welcome!

I'm so glad you are here! I am excited to be on the 2nd grade team at Apex Friendship Elementary School; it is my 3rd year here. This is my 8th year teaching and teaching 2nd grade is my jam! I'm looking forward to a great year ahead.

A little about me -- my family has lived in Apex since 2008 and it truly is the peak of good living! We love it here! I have two kids, two cats, a dog, and a bird. We love bike rides, hiking, growing lots of tomatoes in our garden, and playing board games. I have my master's in teaching from NC State University and I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy.

9:30am - Math

10:50am - Specials

11:35am - Letterland

12:55pm - Lunch

1:25pm - EL

2:35pm - Recess

3:10pm - Science/Social Studies

3:45pm - Dismissal
