-Run a speed test on their device (www.speedtest.net is one option). Are you getting the speed you expect from your internet provider? Some things that may impact your connection speed include the number of devices on your network, the location of your router or access point, and additional hardware (such as extenders that can reduce speed).
Several internet providers will provide broadband internet access for $10-$20 a month for qualifying families. Use the links below for information about these programs and how to apply. Note that some programs do have data caps based on the service available.
