Mrs. Velazquez's 3rd Grade Sea Turtles

My name is Angela Velazquez, and I am happy to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher.  This is my 25th year working in Wake County, and my 18th year teaching 3rd grade. I graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC with a Psychology degree and my teaching certification in 1999. I have been a Nationally Board Certified teacher since 2004.  I am the mother of two beautiful girls (Isabelle, 11 and Maya, 7), an avid sports fan (Go Wolfpack!), and a native of Fayetteville, where my family still resides.  I'm so excited to work with our Sea Turtles on this 3rd grade journey!
