My name is Makenzie Mason and I am thrilled to be on the 2nd Grade team at CFES! This is my first year at Cedar Fork but my fifth year in education. I previously have taught kindergarten for 3 years in Orange County and K-5 reading and math intervention in Wake County for one year. I am originally from a suburb of Philadelphia (Go Birds!) where my family still lives. I went to Elon University where I was a Teaching Fellow. I now live in Durham with my fiance. Just this past December, I became Nationally Board Certified in Literacy! I am looking forward to a FUN and successful year in 2nd Grade together!
