The Rotary Club has always been committed to helping children in need. In 1917, the organization was founded and rotary began to encourage service among youth, foster their active interest in the community, and offer opportunities for them to develop as leaders. Through Interact, these students are able to carry out hands-on service projects, make international connections, develop leadership skills, and have fun!
To become a member of the Interact Club of GHS you MUST:
Attend three 3 Consecutive club meetings.
Participate in a project activities (community service or fundraising activity).
Pay your annual dues of $20 by the due date set.
Connect with leaders in your community and around the world to:
Take action to make a difference in your school and community
Discover new cultures and promote international understanding
Become a leader in your school and community
Have fun and make new friends from around the world
Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.
