Tips for Student Success
Reserve some time each day to complete your course work. Schedule it into your day as if it’s an appointment that you can't miss and set a reminder on your phone. Try to at least sit down, open your work and get started, even if it's only for 5-10 minutes. Sometimes the hardest part is taking action, once you are sitting down in front of your work, you will likely do more than you thought you would!
We know that adult learners have lots of different life commitments and that makes the education process more difficult. We offer students flexibility through our condensed term structure that allows you to complete in person classes in just 7.5 weeks. We also offer correspondence courses for more flexibility so you are able to complete your studies at a time and place that fits into your schedule.
You made the difficult decision to go back to school so make sure you prioritize your goal and make time for your education. Continuing your education may mean putting other things in your life on hold temporarily so that you can put the time and energy you need into your courses. If you have a support network of family and friends around you, reach out to them to see if they can help during this busy time in your life.
