WHAT
The Lightspeed RedCAT is a voice amplification system for the classroom (CAT stands for Classroom Audio Technology.) Every classroom, starting in the fall of 2021, will be equipped with this system.
What's included in your classroom's system
Redcat speaker amplifier with power supply
This speaker can be placed anywhere near a power outlet and connects wirelessly to the Flexmike and the Media Connector.
controls: (1) power button; (1) audio input volume control; (1) audio output volume control; (1) tone control
Flexmike
Your system includes two Flexmikes with magnetic, adjustable lanyards, and a charging station (see photo, right)

battery life is 8 hours (fully charged)

Media Connector
Integrate all classroom multimedia audio sources. Computers, panels, mobile devices, and more can be connected to the compact Media Connector which wirelessly transmits the signal to a Lightspeed audio system.
can be placed anywhere in the room near a power outlet (must be plugged in)
Also included:
Media Connector power supply (see photo, left)- use this to power the Media Connector
Two(2) 3.5mm stereo audio cables (see photo, right)- use these to plug in your laptop or desktop to the Media Connector so the sound goes through the speaker
Your system has already been set up and tested in your classroom. You can move it for optimal audio.
