OUR MISSION

“Our mission is to provide youth-friendly, easily accessible, health and wellness services to all students on campus.”

OUR HISTORY

The Richmond High School Wellness Center started back in 1996. Our original name was "Communities in Schools", so some people still call us "the CIS". We began as a partnership between the school district and Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS). Today, Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) operates the Wellness Center in a partnership with the district, and BACR also partners with other community organizations so we can provide a full array of services to Richmond High students.
