We were thankful for stunning autumn weather as we visited the War Memorial, had a picnic lunch by Lake Burley Griffin and explored the National Museum. It was really interesting to learn about indigenous Australians who had a big influence on history and see some really impressive designer fashions by Aboriginal Artists. The children also enjoyed trying to guess the country the building belonged to as we did a drive by tour of the embassies.

We also saw planes flown in the war. This plane had foldable wings so that parking it took up less space when it landed on a boat.
