Band

• 4th and 5th Grade students have the opportunity to learn one of the following instruments. To help pick an instrument, please watch the videos below.

Flute - Clarinet - Saxophone

Trumpet  - Trombone - Baritone

Percussion (Bells&Snare)-limited availability

• Some buses do not allow students to bring the percussion kit so you may be required to find alternative transportation. 

• You must provide the instrument and materials for band. CLICK HERE for more information about rentals, purchases, and required materials.

• Students receive a 30 minute pull-out lesson once a week in small groups during the school day. Times are rotated every week so students do not get pulled from the same time.

• Students are expected to practice at least 15 minutes daily on their assigned music.

• Students are expected to participate in evening concerts and 8 weekly morning rehearsals leading up to the concert. These rehearsals typically start at 7:45am.  Any beginner will be invited to join the morning rehearsals for the Spring Concert only, not the Winter Concert.

• SIGN UP by September 26th and please have the instrument and book for the first lesson on the week of September 29th.
