Members of the Warren County Amateur Radio Association have the option to choose their level of involvement. If you wish to come and observe and/or participate and enjoy great fellowship with fellow ham radio operators then this is the place for you. In contrast, if you wish to join us and lead a team with a skill you have, then we are also the place for you. We are here to enjoy ham radio and fellowship at all levels of skill and commitment.

EmComm (Emergency Communications)
The Warren County Amateur Radio Association (WCARA) has operated under many names over the years. We were at one time the original RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services) group in Warren county. We have also been ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services) and then WCIRT (Warren County Incident Response Team). Currently the WCARA operates as a club for hobby. The EmComm side of amateur radio in Warren County has moved to the Warren County Auxiliary (click here). The purpose and mission of AuxComm is to provide reliable alternate communications support for Warren County Telecommunications. Members volunteer their services for the purpose of supporting auxiliary communications for Emergency Management. You are encouraged to check out the Warren County AuxComm if you are interested in EmComm services.
