The 7th grade English curriculum focuses on the discussion of various themes utilizing novels, short stories, poems, non-fiction, and drama. Thematic units include Belonging/Diversity, Adolescence, Dystopian, and Advocating for Social Change. We focus on all aspects of the writing process, including grammar, punctuation, and editing. In addition to reading and writing, we also focus on improving listening and critical thinking skills.
