About

No Place for Hate is an initiative developed by the Anti-Defamation League, a leading civil rights organization that has worked for over a century to “secure justice and fair treatment to all.”

The program helps to foster and create inclusive school environments that celebrate diversity, promote respect for differences and challenge bias and bullying.

No Place for Hate connects our school district to more than 200 other institutions in the region and 1500 schools across the country.

You can help support our No Place for Hate campaign in a number of ways:

  • Ask about the No Place for Hate activities and events at your child’s school

  • Along with your child, sign the No Place for Hate Promise (Elementary Schools) or Resolution of Respect (Middle and High Schools) to commit to ending bigotry and bullying

  • Practice No Place for Hate at home! For family resources on challenging bullying and bias, visit the Helpful Links and Resources page within this website.

In addition to the NPFH program, the WTPS have also created committees in the following areas to address equity in all facets of our educational and instructional environments:

  • Social Emotional Learning / Equity, Diversity, and Inclusive Lens

  • Data Committee examining our data trends in these areas

  • NPFH 2.0 committee - looking at ways to expand and promote our NPFH programs

  • Curriculum Committees - at the elementary and secondary level looking at materials, social justice standards, and other inclusive education efforts

  • Mission Statements and Vision - District-wide equity and inclusion statements and SEL/wellness specific vision have been produced

  • Human Resources
