Mrs. Moddie Miller

Hello 6th Graders and welcome to Middle School.  My real name is Maria and my email is maria.miller@wayne.kyschools.us.  I get to be your language arts teacher.  I'm originally from Cuba, but grew up in Lexington, Kentucky where I taught for many years.  This is my 7th year at WCMS, and I LOVE it here.

My husband David and I have 2 grown sons and 1 dog.  

This is going to be a historic year, and I am here to help you learn and have a GREAT one!

GRADING:

Grading is VERY different this year and will be as follows:

•  work turned in on time will be given full credit.  

• 10% will be deducted per day up to a maximum of 4 days late.

• Exceptions will be made with a doctor's note or in the event of other extenuating circumstances.
