Mr. Austin Shearer

Hello to all my 6th grade students and parents! I'm looking forward to starting my first year here at Wayne County Middle School as the 6th Grade Special Education Teacher for the RED team. Many of you will see me often because I will be working with Mrs. Miller and Mr. Shearer collaboratively. I believe it will be a great year, and please don't hesitate to ask me for help. I cannot wait to get started! 

Little bit about me: I'm married to my beautiful wife Bethany Shearer. She is one of the 8th grade math teachers here at WCMS. I'm the 7th & 8th grade boys basketball coach. I love sports (specifically the KY Wildcats), fishing, hunting, and hiking. Lastly, we have a cat named Binx.
