About Water Warriors

Water Warriors is a program begun in 2011 that offers free swim lessons, taught by Wayland High School students, to Wayland elementary and middle school METCO students.

Water Warriors is entirely self-funded; we receive no budget from the school. If you're interested in donating, email the coordinator, Ed DeHoratius, at edmund_dehoratius@waylandps.org.

Water Warriors would also like to thank the USA Triathlon Foundation whose grant for the 2025 season helped fund the program.
