Homework/Assessments
Homework is not frequently given in this class!
There will be new vocabulary terms introduced at the beginning of most units, and students will be asked to study the terms and definitions in preparation for short quizzes. There will be also be Africa and Asia map quizzes on country locations in the second half of the year.
Twice throughout the year, a project will be assigned to be completed at home - the Legacy Project following our Mesopotamia and Egypt units, and Black Heroes in February.
For enrichment, students should consider choosing a book from the Recommended Reading for Students tab on this site, and practice online map quizzes and play Gimkits posted in Google Classroom.
