Earn Credits, While Being Paid!!

The Wautoma High School Work Study Program offers Seniors the opportunity to learn work skills through a work-based learning experience. Students can work for either one or two semesters of their Senior Year. This allows students to earn high school credit and a income.

*NOTE: Program eligibility will be determined on a case by case basis

In order to be apart of the Work Study Program, students must follow certain expectations, including finding employment. Others are as followed:

    • Students must have employment prior to beginning the program

    • Students must sign and submit the WHS Work Study Agreement Prior to participating in the program.

    • Students must follow and maintain good academic, attendance, and behavior requirements required by Wautoma High School.

    • Students must maintain all company rules and requirements identified by their employer.

    • Students must meet with their employer on a regular basis to discuss performance evaluations.

    • Students are responsible for communicating and turning in all necessary paperwork as required on due dates to the School Work Coordinator.

    • Students must meet with School Work Coordinator during scheduled meetings times.

In order to complete the Work Study Program and receive credit. Students must participate in the following:

    • Students must turn in Work Study Agreement Form.

    • Students must attend all required meetings with the School to Work Coordinator.

    • Student must turn in all pay stubs in a timely matter that is set and agreed upon by the School to Work Coordinator.

    • Student is responsible for turning in and discussing their Quarterly Performance Evaluations to their School to Work Coordinator.

If the above items are not met, the students School to Work Coordinator and High School Principal will determine the student’s further eligibility in the program.
