Assessment Information
The WASD is committed to administering a variety of different assessments to students that will accurately measure student learning, so that high quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences will be created for each student.
Accuplacer
The Accuplacer is an untimed computerized test that evaluates your knowledge and skills in reading, writing, math including quantitative reasoning, algebra and statistics. The test helps place students into the appropriate level courses. On average, it takes approximately 2 hours to complete.

ACT
All Juniors at WHS take the ACT in February as our State Assessment. The ACT tests include: Reading, Math, English, Science, Writing.

AP Testing (College Board)
In Wautoma, students self-select into Advanced Placement Courses. Students and than take the AP test to potentially earn college credit. This page provides a general overview. Tests are administered in May every year..

ASVAB
Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is a multi-aptitude test. The four critical areas that calculates your Armed Forces Qualifying Test (AFQT) score are Arithmetic Reasoning, Word knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, and Mathematics Knowledge. This test is administered at WHS in December every year.
