The Wauseon Music Boosters is our parent organization committed to assisting the district music programs in many ways.
What is our hope?
More families than ever are finding it difficult to pay for students to participate in the very program that could benefit them the most. Our hope is that with everyone contributing to each fundraiser, enough funds can be generated that would eliminate financial barriers by making every student’s expenses minimal.
Where does the money go?
instrument repairs
uniforms
piano tuning
scholarships
storage units
liability insurance
sheet music
fundraising expenses
music competitions
clinicians and accompanists to assist the three instructors and hundreds of students
supplements for HS music trips and band camp
misc. needs for music programs for the entire district, grades K12
large instruments like drums, marimbas and tubas
In the recent years we have purchased over $20,000 in new instruments for the band and over $5,000 in attire for the choir program, $15,000 in concert uniforms and $45,000 new marching uniforms for the High School Band
The boosters supplemented the 2023 New York trip by covering the cost of everyone's last payment!
How can you help?
Any Time:
Join other parents at 7:00 pm in the band room on the third Tuesday of each month to plan and develop ideas. Any feedback is great, and you only need to help as you are able. Meetings last about an hour.
