CLEAN

We have 300,409 square feet under roof of building space to clean and sanitize daily. That includes 49 bathrooms with 213 toilets/urinals and 193 sinks.  

There are 32,467 Square feet of other district owned buildings that require cleaning and sanitizing on a regular basis (Krauss Field House, Athletic building, 

baseball press box, track building etc.)

During the school year, the District averages 49 outside the school day events each week that require special attention by the Operations Staff.

During the summer, all 144 classrooms, 37 offices, 49 restrooms, cafeterias and gymnasiums are cleared out, deep cleaned, floors stripped and waxed, carpets

shampooed and furniture cleaned and reset.

COMFORTABLE

We have 22 Air Handlers, 72 Unit Heaters and 5 Furnaces to supply Heating, Cooling and Ventilation to our buildings, all programmed to produce 6-12 Air Changes per Hour.

We have 8 Boilers producing 17.5 Million BTU’s of hot water for heating and 5 Chillers totaling 14 Tons of capacity for cooling.

In addition there are Electric Spot heaters, Hydronic In-floor Heating and Several Split system A/C Units for specific areas.

CURB APPEAL

We have 42 acres of grass to mow, 18 separate areas of landscaping and countless trees.

In the winter we have 2.75 Miles of sidewalk to clear snow.
