Wauseon High School is a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) and currently competes in 21 varsity sports. Wauseon Middle School is also a member of the OHSAA and offers participation opportunities in 10 sports. Since 1926, Wauseon has been a charter member of the Northwest Ohio Athletic League (NWOAL) and competes for 17 different league championships.
