2. New Registration Technology Platform - Introducing "PlayMetrics"
WYSA (Wisconsin Youth Soccer Assoication) has adopted a new back-end technology platform to replace Demosphere and GotSport to be used for player and team registration and season management. To make the process of syncing our players and information from Fond du Lac to WYSA easy, the Fond du Lac Soccer Association has decided to also utilize this new tool "PlayMetrics" for our Academy and Select registration and team management.
The experience for families on PlayMetrics should be superior to what you experienced with Demosphere. The main benefit is that everything you need to do, will be available on the mobile app.

Northern Illinois University Men's Soccer program is pleased to announce the 2023 Residential Elite Camp. This camp is designed for high school teams preparing for the 2023 fall season, individuals aspiring to become college soccer players, and those looking to learn new skills to take their game to the next level. Over the course of four days, players will have an opportunity to work with college coaches from DI, DII, DIII, Junior College, and NAIA programs. High school coaches can work with the college coaches to cater training sessions and game plans to their team needs. Our goalkeeping staff will be running specialized training sessions throughout the camp, focusing on the technical, tactical, and psychological needs of the position. Campers will reside in one of tower dorms at the heart of campus and will experience what it is like living in a campus dorm. The Residential Elite Camp will also include individual residential camper and commuter camper options.

Speaking of summer, we are holding an ID camp for high school aged boys players on Saturday July 16th.
This will be a great opportunity for your players to experience a proper collegiate session with a wonderful opportunity to interact with myself (the head coach), our coaching staff, and some of our players.
Can you please share this information with your players, and their parents?
I look forward to seeing them on Saturday, July 16th.

Boys Soccer Club Players needed U17. This is an age group where the boys start getting a lot going on in their lives and we wanted to hold a later tryout to see if there are others interested beyond the ones who signed up over the summer.
The Fond du Lac Soccer Association is having tryouts at Lenz Fieldhouse on January 5th & 12th from 8-9 pm for our U17 Boys team. This would include any boys born in the years 2005, 2006, or any Freshman born in 2007.
The team would play in the SECL league (southeastern area of the state) and practice at the Fond du Lac soccer complex. League play would consist of 7-8 games, typically played on Saturday or Sunday and the team would also play in two tournaments to be determined by the coach. All of our club coaches are WYSA licensed and Tom Leach (U17 Head Coach) has been coaching with FDLSA for about 10 years.
If anyone is interested a link to the registration is below.

Our Fond du Lac Phoenix teams include player from variety of school district/cities including; North Fond du Lac, Ripon, Rosendale, Waupun, Campbellsport, Mayville, Brownsville, Kewaskum, SMSA, WLA, and of course Fond du Lac. What school a player attends is of no concern to us, we're looking for players who want to play soccer and put the effort into improving and growing as players.
If anyone has any questions about Select soccer or the tryouts please let me know.

The Fond du Lac Soccer Association will be holding tryouts for our 2021-2022 Select teams from June 14-28, nights vary by age group. We were hoping you would share this information with your teams as we would love to get new players involved in the club.
The High School boys season would play in the spring of 2022 with practices starting late March or April and ending sometime in June depending on league and tournament schedules. Each team plays about 8 league games in the WYSA SECL league & two tournaments. Teams would also practice at least twice a week throughout the season. Tryouts are typically run by club coaches with occasional assistance from Marian College coaches who would then determine who receives offers to play.
All players are welcome to try out for the teams, but if there was a school team who wanted to play together and they had enough players to field a team we could attempt to accommodate them. The team would play under the Fond du Lac Phoenix name and registration, but they could practice in their town. If there would be any team interested in this we would need to discuss things such as coaches & practice facilities to ensure proper licensing and safety.
In addition, if you know of any groups or even individual players at younger ages who might be interested, please feel free to share this information with them as well. Our teams run from U11-U19 (2011-2003 birth year) and next year we will be modifying our Academy program to participate and play in the WYSA Academy program.
