FAQ

About the Show

What is this show about?

"Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" is a play by Tom Stoppard that reimagines the story of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" from the perspective of two minor characters, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. The play explores themes of fate, free will, and the absurdity of human existence. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern find themselves caught in the political intrigue of the Danish court and are often bewildered by their roles. As they struggle to understand their purpose and the events around them, they engage in silly dialogue questioning the world. The play explores uncertainty and offers a thought-provoking and entertaining reinterpretation of a classic story.
