Jack Andersen- Rosencrantz- Publicity Crew Head

Jack Andersen is a senior at Northwest High School. Jack is also currently the Vice-President of Thespian Troupe #10623. He has extensive theatre experience, appearing onstage in Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Ramona Quimby at The Playhouse, as James in School of Rock at Des Moines Young Artists’ Theatre (DMYAT), and in many other productions at DMYAT. He has also participated in all shows and thespian events in Waukee since 6th grade. In the spring of 2022, he played SpongeBob and was the Publicity Head Designer for the SpongeBob Musical, both of which earned him an Iowa High School Musical Theatre Award. He also played King/Prince in Poe: Dreams of Madness and Fred Casely/Harrison in Chicago: Teen Edition this past school year. Backstage at DMYAT, he has designed costumes for Boy at the Edge of Everything, worked on run crew for 13, and on sound crew for Treasure Island. At Northwest, Jack is the Vice-President of Troupe 10623, Web Editor for the Tenth Street Times, President of Random Acts of Kindness, PR Coordinator for National Honor Society, and is a meber of the school's activities counsel. He is also in Northwest Singers (Northwest's varsity choir) and EOS, Northwest's Varsity show choir. Jack also enjoys baking desserts, crafting, and having fun with friends and family!

 Sam Bishop- Low Comedian/Fake Polonius

Samantha Bishop is a senior at Waukee Northwest High School. Samantha has participated in theatre all throughout high school. She was a teen fan and ensemble in the SpongeBob Musical. She was also the green guest in Poe: Dreams of Madness and was a reporter and ensemble in Chicago: Teen Edition. In her free time, Samantha likes to read, spend time with friends and family, and watch movies.

Ava Boldt-Soubrette

Ava Boldt is a junior at Northwest High School. Her first involvement in theatre was in her 8th-grade school play where she played the role of a student. After that, she explored more theatre opportunities like Des Moines Young Artist's Theatre (DMYAT). She was in the musical Descendants, where she was cast as Audrey. In her freshman year of high school, she was in the play Trap as the character Sergeant Brock. Last fall, Ava was in her first Northwest theatre arts production Poe: Dreams of Madness, cast as the Violet Guest and Privy Counselor. She also helped out with the crew. In the spring of last year she was in the spring musical Chicago: Teen Edition as one of the merry Murdereses Mona (Lipshitz) and one of the Billy Flinn dancers. Ava is also a Northwest Royal Brigade marching band/color guard member. Outside of school, she enjoys art, reading, and being with friends and family!

Lucie Buck-Gertrude

Lucie Buck is a senior at Northwest High School. This is her 3rd Northwest mainstage performance and her 1st year participating in the fall play. She has majorly focused on singing and music, EOS (the varsity show choir), large group speech musical theatre, jazz choir, and the Northwest Singers (the top audition curricular choir). She is looking forward to this years spring musical and pursuing music in college.

Addison Busta-The Player 1

Addison Busta is a junior at Northwest High School. She has been interested in theatre and musicals for forever. She started theatre as a toddler, but made a real impact in the 9th grade play, Trap, then continuing to be in the 10th grade play, Poe: Dreams of Madness, and the musical Chicago: Teen Edition. Addison enjoys reading, writing, and hanging out with friends and families.

Anna Coffey-Hamlet

Anna Coffey is a junior at Northwest High School. She started participating in theatre products during 6th grade as the small brave girl in Peter Pan Jr. She has been a part of Chicago: Teen Edition, Trap, and Will and Whimsy. Anna also participates in the speech team and NSDA. Over the summer she had the honor to compete at NSDA nationals in dramatic interpretation with the piece Lady Killers.

Viollet Finken-Leading Man/Player-King

Vi Finken is a sophomore at Northwest High School. Vin was the Interviewer in Prairieview's production of Trap, and was an ensemble member for Prairieview's production of A Wrinkle in Time.

Kylie Halstead-Courtier/Pirates

Kylie Halstead is a junior at Northwest High School. This will be Kylie's second performance at Northwest High School. She took part in Poe: Dreams of Madness last year and is excited to perform again. Kylie has been in many other shows her favorites include Penguin Project's Annie Jr., Newsies, Swan Lake, Penguin Project's High School Musical Jr. and A Christmas Carol. When not on stage, Kylie likes to ride her bike, volunteer with penguin project, and being with family and friends.

Katerina Kassioti-Cloaked Guildenstern

Katerina Kassioti is a junior at Northwest High School. She has been involved in theatre since 6th grade and really enjoys it. She has taken part of a lot of school plays, including Will and Whimsy and Trap (Prairieview). She also participates in IHSSA and Aurora show choir. Katerina also loves to read, write, and play violin.

Xavier Lago-Guildenstern

Xavier Lago is a junior at Northwest High School. He has participated in Lion King Jr, preparing the role of Timone before the pandemic hit. He hopes to rise to meet even the most significant challenges and make a lasting impact on the world. He is very excited to be a part of this production!

Sydney LePorte-Ingenue

Sydney Leporte is a junior at Northwest High School. She became involved in theatre just last year through thespian events and the Spring Musical, Chicago: Teen Edition. Sydney is a part of many other performance aspects in and outside of school. She's a member of the varsity jazz choir, junior varsity show choir, and is the Student Worship Intern at Lutheran Church of Hope Waukee. Sydney has found so much joy in the preforming arts department at Northwest and can't wait to see where the rest of this year takes her!

Melanie Marks-Soubrette

Melanie Marks is a junior at Northwest High School. She got into theatre just last year when she participated in the last fall play, Poe: Dreams of Madness, as well as the spring musical Chicago: Teen Edition. She has always had a love for the stage, however, throughout her 14 years of dance experience, where she performed in many ballets, such as Dracula and The Nutcracker. To Melanie, theatre is more than just performing, it's spending quality time with friends and bonding with new ones.

Frank Morris-Alfred/Player-Queen

Frank Morris is a sophomore at Northwest High School. Frank loves to participate in theatre, IHSSA Speech, NSDA, FBLA, Northwest Activities Council, Ignition Student Leadership, and also involved with the Northwest Student Council. Fank was also an Assistant Stage Manager for Chicago: Teen Edition this spring. Through performing, Frank has learned that actions and words portrayed on a stage can not only send audiences home with emotions, but also can take home new behavior and ideas which influences him to keep performing. This is what brings Frank joy when performing for audiences.

Bre Newberry-Cloaked Rosencrantz

Bre Newberry is a sophomore at Waukee Northwest High School. This is her first time being on stage and performing. She also really likes plants!

Greta Paulsen-Ophelia

Greta Paulsen is a junior at Northwest High School. She's been involved with many school theatre arts and thespian productions as well as many community theatre shows. Along with theatre, Greta is also involved in speech team, EOS show choir, Keynote jazz choir, Northwest Singers, Student Council, RAK, and varsity tennis.

Carly Rau-Crone

Carly Rau is a senior at Northwest High School. She has been involved in recent productions with Northwest Theater Arts including Chicago: Teen Edition as a Reporter, and Poe: Dreams of Madness as the Raven.

Faith Rhinehart-Ingenue

Faith Rhinehart is a sophomore at Northwest High School. She is in Aurora show choir and plays piano in her free time. Her favorite book is Meet Me In the Middle by Alex Light.

Preston Stock-Ambassador

Preston Stock is a sophmore at Northwest High School. This is the first year he's tried acting. He does debate NSDA and is involved in basketball and track.He likes to do many different categories of theatre and try new things. He likes to be with friends and family often. His favorite classes are RUSH and wants to try photography. His hobbies include photography, sometimes drawing and working on cars.

Molly Trewin-Attendant

Molly Trewin is a sophomore at Northwest High School. She is very passionate about theatre, IHSSA, makeup, and music. She is in many activities that are involving those things. Molly is a proud member of the JV show choir Aurora. Molly has been in previous performances at Prairieview, such as A Wrinkle in Time, and Trap, where she spent most of her time in the cast. Molly has found immense success in Make-up crew through her amazed talents and past experience. The reason why Molly loves theatre and the play is because many of her friends are involved and feels like she belongs.

Micah Vera-The Player 2

Micah Vera is a senior at Northwest High School. He began acting at age 13 with his portrayal of Willy Wonka in the Waukee Middle School musical Willy Wonka Jr. Not long after, he pursued a career in directing and 3D animation. Using these tools to develop short films and music videos, he achieved status among local productions and was selected for an internship under a prestigious Studio and Production Coordinator in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2022, Micah was selected to study music at the Stanford Jazz Institute in Palo Alto, California. Micah enjoys photography, digital art, music, acting, filmography, and ink drawing. He hopes to pursue a career in film and art in college.

Haylie Zinkula-English King

Haylie Zinkula is a junior at Northwest High School. She helped with the production of both the play: Poe: Dreams of Madness, and the musical Chicago: Teen Edition. She has also been apart of IHSSA and NSDA as well. Haylie loves drawing, reading, and writing in her freetime. She plays bass in her youth group and loves performing for others in her acting, public speaking, and playing in the band.
