About the Show

What is this show about?

It’s nearly midnight, of course, and our troubled protagonist, Edgar, is having difficulty sleeping… or at least he thinks he is: “I am haunted by dreams, even when I wake.” The positively dead and the presumed living give breath to Poe retellings similar to his greatest Gothic works, including The Tell-Tale Heart, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Pit and the Pendulum, The Masque of the Red Death, and The Raven. Will Poe ever rest easy again? Will you? So sayeth the Raven: nevermore.

Is this show apropreate for children?

Since we do not know every family's culture, we recommend that attendees are ages 13+. Our company depicts many scenes of death, drinking, blood, and murder. Anyone is welcome to attend, but it is not our intention to disturb children. If you have any questions about the show or maturity, please contact Mrs. Payton at kpayton@waukeeschools.org .

Where is the show?

At this time there is no discount for students or children. All tickets are $8 and proceeds go towards supporting this production. These tickets help us to produce this show. The prophet gives us the ability to support the hundreds of kids who want theatrical experience in our high school.
