Note the following updates to our activities for next year:
Due to high demand, we are offering Tennis in both the Fall and Spring. Both seasons will be recreational. Students will have the chance to play tennis in either the fall or spring (but not both). Limit 12 students each season.
We are offering a new Maker Space activity in the Winter. Details are still being finalized, and a description will be posted as soon as we have one.
The following tennis program adjustments will allow us to balance the numbers of students on our courts over the course of the year and offer high quality instruction to all.
We are offering a Recreational Tennis activity in the Fall. This will be open to those students who are new(ish) to tennis and those students who just want to play recreationally. Fall tennis will not be open to Varsity players.
Varsity Tennis in the Spring will be open to players with a level of tennis experience that allows them to participate in match play. Beginners and those students who are not yet ready to participate in match play should sign up for Fall tennis.
Upper School Recreational Activities
Upper School recreational activities will start on the first day of classes, Thursday, September 4.
Please note that some recreational activities start on Thursday and others start on the following Monday.
Upper School students who are wondering where to go – and when – may look here for more info: Where and When Does My Fall Activity Meet?
Middle School Activities
Middle school students begin their Fall activities on the first day of classes, Thursday, September 4.
Students will be guided to their mid-day activity location by teachers on Thursday.
On that day, all Middle School students should bring their own water bottle and comfortable clothing (t-shirts and shorts/leggings) for movement, as well as the following items for specific activities:
Cross-country - running shoes
Soccer - cleated soccer shoes and shin guards
Tennis - athletic shoes and tennis racket (if you own one)
Volleyball - non-marking sneakers
Special note for Middle Schoolers:
Auditions for this year's Autumn Play - an Upper School afternoon activity - will be open to Middle School students as well as Upper School. Middle school students who are selected to participate in the Autumn Play will also participate in middle school midday activities as normal. However, because students in the play will be expected to be at rehearsal every day, students signing up for cross country or soccer, both of which have some games after school, will not be able to audition.
This year’s Autumn production is The Diary of Anne Frank, directed by Mrs. Schrader. Auditions and callbacks will be in the amphitheater during after-school activities (3:00-4:30).
Auditions will be held on Thursday and Friday, September 4 and 5.
Callbacks will be held on Monday, September 8.
If you have any questions, please email Miss Donovan.
