Building for the Future

The Town of Watertown and the Watertown Public Schools are undertaking major capital projects across the school district to provide our students with state-of-the-art facilities. A School Facilities Master Plan prepared in 2016 set the stage. In 2017, planning began for renovation or replacement of the three elementary schools, and in December 2017, Watertown was accepted into the Massachusetts School Building Authority process for renovation or replacement of the high school. A School Building Committee was created in March 2018, to oversee both the elementary and high school projects. On this page are three links to more information on the various projects in Watertown’s Building for the Future initiative.
