Be Kind to your cords

Due to the number of Chromebook charging cables that have needed to be replaced from cords being yanked out of the wall or Chromebook, students will now be charged $16 for a replacement.

Waterloo Virtual Academy

A school-issued Chromebook is REQUIRED for all testing. Please call the WCCx main office at (319) 433-1931 or the Greenbrier main office at (319) 433-1930 to arrange a pick-up or to have your current school-issued Chromebook registration transferred to our program.
Our staff is scheduled for lunch from 11:30 A.M. until noon and unavailable after 2 P.M.
Waterloo Virtual Academy follows the Waterloo CSD's calendar. Therefore, if Waterloo delays, dismisses early, or cancels classes altogether, the same applies to those who are part of the virtual academy.

Additional Virtual Proctoring Hours
WARNING: Target dates are closer than they appear!
- All middle school courses should be 25% completed on or before Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
  - Actual Grades will be recorded for all middle school courses in Infinite Campus at the end of the semester, which is Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
  - The Actual Grade is the overall grade for progress if a student is behind. This score doesn’t assume zeros for uncompleted work; simply penalizes for falling behind.
  - The next target date for high school courses is Wednesday, November 12, 2026. All high school courses should be 100% completed on or before Wednesday, November 12, 2026.

Staff is available to work with you each instructional day from 7:45 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. and 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. Please contact your advisor or content teachers during that time for assistance.
