With over a decade of experience in education, I currently serve as the Program Coordinator for EXPO Alternative Learning Center, bringing a passion for innovation and a commitment to discovering new and effective ways to educate the next generation. I've been proudly employed by Waterloo Schools for the past 13 years, with the majority of my work rooted in special education—an area that has deeply shaped my approach to student success and individualized learning.

In the summer of 2025, I married my wonderful wife, and together we share our home with two energetic fur babies: Murphy, a Goldendoodle, and Jackson, a Labradoodle. Outside of work, I’m passionate about fitness in all forms, whether it’s group classes, weightlifting, cycling, swimming, running, or walking the dogs. I believe in staying active and balanced.

I’m also an avid reader, currently hooked on the Dungeon Crawler Carl series—an adventure I can’t put down. I enjoy trips to the movie theater, riding my Harley, and spending most school breaks traveling with my adventurous and equally Disney-obsessed wife. Whether at home or on the road, I believe in bringing energy, creativity, and compassion into every part of my life, especially in how I support our students and staff at the Virtual Academy.

As Walt Disney once said, “Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children.” This belief continues to inspire my work every day.
