I received my teaching degree in 1990 and have been teaching in some capacity ever since. My degrees are in Math, Spanish and Theology. I home-schooled my oldest two daughters, so I taught every subject at every level. I lived in Honduras for a summer and studied in Spain for another summer. I have been a translator on several short-term service trips to Mexico and have taken students on trips to Europe, Costa Rica and Belize through EFtours. We will travel to Spain in 2025. I have traveled to several other countries, as well, and enjoy learning about their cultures. I have been at WHS since 2008. I was married to my late husband for 24 years and have 3 children. My youngest graduated from WHS in 2023. I enjoy hiking, playing guitar, singing, reading, dancing, playing table games and spending time with family and friends. My favorite charities are https://www.compassion.com/ and https://www.charitywater.org/ .
