¡Bienvenidos a mi sitio! I teach Spanish 1, 3 and Geometry this year, plus CWU 151, 152 and 153. Ask me how to get university credit for about 1/4 of the cost of attending on their campus!

My name is: Ms. Rochelle Aiton--"Sra. A / Profe / Ms. A"
My birthday is: June 5th
I attended: Central Washington University for Bachelor’s in Math, Spanish and Education; Language School in La Coruña, Spain; Western Seminary for Master’s in Theology; Grand Canyon University for ELL continuing studies and most recently SNHU for Global Studies.
When I’m not teaching I like to: hike, travel, play games with my son, sing and play guitar/bass and sleep! I have adult children, a child here at WHS and 4 grandchildren!
Travel: Every two-three years I offer to lead an educational tour to another country. The last one was Belize in Costa Rica and Panamá in 2023. The next one is planned for a Language School in the Dominican Republic!
Some of my favorite writers include: CS Lewis, George MacDonald and Brock & Bodie Thoene
Someone who inspires me is: Kay Arthur, intellectual and published author. I want to be published some day. Martin Luther was bold enough to change his culture.
A few things people may not know about me are:
I have lived in Spain and Honduras.
I have traveled in Spain, Honduras, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Belize and Panamá.
I have volunteered at an orphanage and on different building projects in Mexico on several occasions.
I was in a car accident my senior year of HS and missed 6 weeks of school.
I have survived eight surgeries, three of which were on my eye.
Two of my favorite charities are https://www.compassion.com/ where you can sponsor a child's education and medical care AND https://www.charitywater.org/ where you can help people around the world dig wells for clean water.
