Valedictorian
The Valedictorian and Salutatorian will be chosen based on the following criteria:
All candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 at the end of the 3rd quarter of their senior year.
Class rank will be determined using a point system:
Honors classes and UTU Core classes worth 3 credits are worth 1 point
AP Classes and UTU Core Courses for 4 or more credits are worth 2 points
*Note In the event of a tie in rank at this point, the ACT score will be used to determine final class ranking.
