Welcome to the Dixie Middle School Technology Education Program!  We offer a variety of courses designed to help students increase their technological literacy, as well as offer Many Different experiences in the world of Technology and Manufacturing. To help Student to be prepared for Real world Technology Professions. This website contains links to course information and announcements. Program Goals

Technological Literacy

Technological literacy  for Every student is one of our major goals, and we hope to offer something for everyone. We hope to help every student get different experience in many areas of technology and manufacturing.  You do not need to be a Technology and manufacturing  expert to take our Classes. We are here to add onto on what knowledge you have no mater what level of of experience you have. It is critical for everyone  to be able to understand, use, manage, and evaluate technological systems, and their impacts on the human experience. Our courses offer hands-on experiences focused on critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, design, and creativity.

Career Exploration

Another goal is to expose all students to a wide range of rewarding career opportunities.  All of our courses will investigate a variety of career options. In addition, the structure of our courses helps students gain in-demand Skills required by many professions. 



About Your Instructor

                                                    

Mr. Stull 

Mr. Stull is the Technology Education teacher at Dixie Middle School.  He was born in California, lived most of his teenage years in Virginia, and finished high school in Manti Utah.  Between the end of high school and finishing college Mr. Stull has had many professions. Such as welding, custom cabinetry, building spec homes, doing professional Technical theater, and many other things. He went to Snow College For Technical theater and then enrolled at Utah State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Technology and Engineering Education in 2015. Once graduating from college Mr. Stull Taught Technical theater for 2 years at Tuacahn high school and then Taught College and career awareness for 3 years at Tonaquint Intermediate school, followed by Dixie middle where he is today. Mr. Stull is excited to be here at Dixie middle and create and build many fun projects with the students.


Mr. Stull's teaching philosophy centers around Students gaining experiences to help them build their skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, Self-motivation, teamwork, and the ability to self-teach while promoting technological literacy helping students prepare for careers in technology-related fields.


Outside of the classroom, Mr. Stull enjoys hiking, Biking, backpacking, woodworking, and welding.  Mr. Stull and his wife have a set of twins that are 1 and a half years old.
