Cameras are available for you to use in your classes. You can have students record presentations or flip your classroom by recording your lessons. The cameras can also be used to record alternate observations.
The library has a STEAM account and a Vive virtual reality system. Set up small group activities or have your class work together to solve a problem or have a real-world experience. Currently, these simulations/games are available in the Tank.
Bring the escape room concept into your classroom with a Breakout EDU kit! Seven kits are available in the library. For access to the library of games, see Cynthia Cassidy. There are physical and digital games already created for many subject areas and topics.
Use the binding machine to organize your work or to make your students’ work look professional. The binding machine can be used to bind books written by students.
If you need items laminated, drop them in the blue basket by my office door. Make sure your name and room number are on your items! They will be returned within a few days.
The Tank can be used to create videos or engaging hooks to use with your students. Start your next lesson with a video of yourself on Mars or at the Eiffel Tower!
The Libary and Tank have three display boards. Students can break into small groups to practice or give presentations or the rooms can be used to host activities that involve centers. Either space can also be reserved for large group presentations.
The Tank is an interactive learning space adjoining the library. It has a Lego wall, houses the HTC Vive and a green screen, and has materials students can use to create posters, skits, or projects.
